ROVING TENSION CONTROL DEVICE

The roving tension varies depending on the bobbin weight. The roving tension increases when the bobbin is full and the tension reduces gradually with relevant to the weight reduction due to unwinding. This variation in tension creates long thin yarn problems which affects the post spinning activities and fabric quality. This device ‘HiQu’ solves this problem and helps to maintain uniform roving tension in Ring spinning machines.

HiQu consists a steel spring and solid body material and it can be mounted in Roving guide rods of the Ring spinning machines. One spindle needs a pair of HiQu devices. It absorbs the tension of roving material and ensures uniform tension and thereby reduces the yarn defects.
